Out West

From my very first self assigned magazine story about a family horse ranch the American west has been the subject I continue to explore. Cowboys, farmers, miners, ranchers, native americans, fishermen and loggers roughed out cultures bold as the landscape of the American West. The nature of their work developes a strength of character that shows in their faces. The families who make their living from the land and the natural cycles of the seasons follow the same pioneer spirit that fueled our countries fight for independence and the western expansion to the pacific.
